The gun is an essential tool of the trade for a hunter. Your gun can be like an old friend, reliable and supportive, or your gun can be a real thorn in your side, inaccurate and unpredictable. It all depends on how you treat it.
Keep your gun clean. This will improve accuracy and greatly prolong the life of your gun.
A properly sighted gun can go a long way in improving your overall hunting success. Take the extra time to bore sight your gun, and your efforts will be returned. Start small at about 50 yards and work your way up from there. Familiarize yourself with your scope because each one is different. Mine is about 1 click for every ½.
